::- WHERE IS SUCCESS?-::

::- HAPPINESS IS NOT DEFINED BY AGE -::

One day I observed a sparrow collecting Pieces of straw and grass on top of a mirror to make her nest there. No sooner would she place her collection there, they would slip and fall to the ground. The exercise was repeated for a very long time. Neither was the sparrow tired nor did the straws balance on the mirror.

I reflected: Can effort which is not supported by wisdom ever yield success?

A woman bent with age was looking to the ground and walking. A youth was going past. He asked the old lady, “Madam what are you searching for,” ensing the tease in the question the old woman replied, “My pearl of youth is lost. I am looking for it.”

Man tries to extend his past into the present. If the direction of attempt could be changed. It would be good. One should search for happiness in the state in which one is. There lies the greatest happiness.

::- A SHORE FOR INTOXICATION -::

::- THREAT TO RESPECT -::

The boat was still anchored. The drunkard boated all night but in the morning found it had not moved even an inch. When the intoxication of liquor wore off, the drunkard realized the boat was anchored. Then, in spite of any effort, how can one move it?

The master said, “Young boy, I want to get up at 40’clock. So wake me up then.”
The attendant replied, “Master I can not read the time. Do tell me when it is 4 0’ clock and I will wake you up.”
This is a threat to respect. If the master were to tell him the time, then why his service?

::- LOOK FOR THE ROOT OF HAPPINESS -::

::- TIT FOR TAT -::

Man experiences sorrow. This is because he does not see happiness. The reason for sorrow is that man tries to see happiness where it is not. If you want to be happy then look for happiness where it exists.

A rather fat man sat in a car. A very thin man came that way and asked, “Is this car meant only for elephants.?”
The fat man immediately quipped,” No not at all. There is space for donkeys too.” When one insults another, how can he think he will not be insulted too?

::- FEAR EVEN IN FEARLESSNESS -::

::- MONEY IS EVERYTHING -::

“Father are you scared of darkness?”
“No, I am not scared.”
“Are you afraid of the lion?”
“No”
Do you fear the cyclone?”
“No”
“I know,” said his daughter, “But for my mother you are not scared of anything or anybody.”
One who is careless, not righteous and does not nourish his family properly finds fear originating from within his house it self.

Amuser fell ill. The doctor advised that he seeks treatment abroad. The miser consulted his senior most staff member. “How much will it cost to go abroad, “he asked.
The staff member answered, “ Rupees fifty thousand.” And how much would be the cost of cremation?”
“Rupees five thousand.”
“Then what is the point of going abroad? It is better to opt for the cheaper alternative.”

::- ONENESS WITH THE SOUL -::

::- ONE ELEPHANT SEATED ON ANOTHER -::

Shiva announced an award for his two sons and qualified that the one who went around the world, in the shortest time would get it.
Kartikeya thought- I will get the prize. How can Ganesh who travels on a mouse ever beat me to it?
Thinking thus. Kartikeya mounted the peacock and began his journey. Ganesh went around his parents three time. Kartikeya, On coming back, found Ganesh where he had left him. He was very happy because he thought now the prize was undoubtedly his.

A rather heavy man was travelling on an elephant. On the way he passed a village. He asked the villagers, “Why have you never seen an elephant before?” “We have seen an elephant but never seen one elephant atop another.”
It is amazing but it is true that where there is fault, there is one fault after another. That is why one should not trample on others
